Funding: One third each by the Federal Government, the Province of Carinthia and the City of Klagenfurt. The third to be paid by the City will be largely met by the Province.

Capacity after part deconstruction: 18,000 / 30,000 visitors; 18,000 visitors for the Austrian Football Leauge and 30,000 visitors for big events (concerts, etc.)
Klagenfurt’s new stadium will involve marked improvements concerning more than just the handling of football matches. Due to the encasing of the arena, neighbours will be better protected from noise and light (modern floodlighting system integrated in the stadium).

- Roof area: 32,000m², 8,000m² pitch
- More than 1,000 workers involved (up to 500 at the same time)
- 60,000 m³ of soil were moved
- 21,000 m³ of concrete and almost 10,000 t of steel were used
- 300 km of cables
Time schedule:
- December 2005: demolition of the old stadium
- Sprin 2006: start of constrution work on the Sports Park
- September 2007: completion of the stadium
- 7th September 2007: official inauguration of the stadium
- 2010: part deconstruction of the stadium
- 26th July 2010: Move-in of the football academy
