Around 200 children and youngsters (U15, U17, U19) will be coached in the football academy. The model for this academy is the high-performance training centre, Leistungszentrum Südstadt in Vienna. The schoolchildren attend state schools in Klagenfurt. Completion of the football academy is planned for spring 2010.
The football academy will house the following rooms:
• Foyer / entrance hall
• Changing rooms, fitness and training halls
• Medical care
• Classrooms and recreation rooms
• Boarding school
• Academy administration
• Kärnten Sport Coordination Office, Carinthian Provincial Government Offices
• Klagenfurt Sport Office, Municipal Authorities of the Provincial Capital of Klagenfurt
• Business spaces
