The
Hypo Group Arena was inaugurated in September 2007 and is the gem of Klagenfurt Sports Park. Many people even speak of it as a new symbol of Klagenfurt.
The stadium, which complies with all UEFA and FIFA guidelines, is a compact structure which is integrated in the landscape. The complex is architecturally striking because of the dynamic elevation of the roof above the eastern stand. Eye-catchers are the ramp that slightly ascends from the west in the direction of the stadium and the access stairs at the corners of the platform. The stands are as close to the pitch as possible and make every match a special live experience.
The lounge and facilities for VIP ticket holders are situated in a spacious, raised box above the western building. In front of this area is a VIP stand for the "Platinum Members", which provides room for about 300 people.
