Football academy
Around 200 children and youngsters (U15, U17, U19) are coached here. The schoolchildren attend state schools in Klagenfurt. Training and games halls, a boarding school, study rooms, medical care, changing rooms and a dining hall are available for the youngsters.
Ball games competence centre
The ball games competence centre is a pilot project of the Federal Government aimed at supporting talented young sportspersons. Three halls, one warming-up hall, additional facilities and stands for approximately 800 spectators are part of the ball games competence centre.
Western buildingAccommodated in the western building are, for example rooms for the press, VIP area, stadium administration, medical care, stadium safety unit or the mechanical services.

European Championship stadium & basic stadium
After the UEFA EURO 2008™ the “Wörtherseestadion” stadium will be partly deconstructed to the basic stadium. The European Championship stadium will hold 32,000 visitors; the basic stadium will hold almost as many people as the old stadium, namely 12,000 people.
The deconstruction will be financed by the Federal Government (EUR 7 million) and will be done in 2009. The stands will be used for other stadiums in Austria.
